Helping Others

Consumer Assist is committed to making South Africa a strong, happy, debt-free nation. Debt counsellors see and hear many sad stories and so when the first Mandela Day began on 18 July 2009 our branches across the country enthusiastically took part to bring some joy to others.

Cape Town

Consumer Assist Wynberg visited Woodside Special Care Centre in Cape Town armed with a mountain of marshmallows, a carload of cupcakes and some good cheer. The young people of Woodside are all profoundly mentally and physically challenged.

The team in attendance were: Gerrit Swanepoel (Manager of the Wynberg branch), Pamela Zabbia (Debt Counsellor), Stella Coetzee (CARE Marketing Executive) and Karin Augustyn (DCM Marketing Executive). Pamela's husband, Claudio and baby Angelica, also joined in.
